18° Sport Tourism Exchange
The BTS, after 18 years, continues to be the most important trade fair in the whole of Europe specializing in sports and dynamic tourism. This type of tourism now plays an extremely important role in the economy development of many regions. On an annual basis, more than 10million people enjoy sports vacations accounting for 60 million overnight stays, including professionals, amateurs supporters and spectators of sports and family events. But sports tourism means above all to have a dynamic holiday: a traditional stay (at a hotel, holiday village, holiday farm) which is characterized by more or less regular physical activities, such as golf, tennis, trekking, diving, equestrian sports and much more.
Thanks to the workshops organized in the Portoghesi and Nencini halls inside the Terme Tettuccio, 180 buyers selected together with Enit, mostly foreigners, (from 25 countries from all continents) meet Italian sellers.
BTS is a unique event taking place for the fourth consecutive time in the spectacular venue of the Tettuccio Spa of Montecatini, the symbol of Italian thermal traditions.
